Add LookMovie to an iPhone home screen
Open the LookMovie homepage in Safari, tap Share, scroll to Add to Home Screen and confirm the displayed name and icon. Launch the new LookMovie icon once to verify that Search and the catalog open normally. This creates a web-app window; it does not install an unrelated App Store package or create a new account.
If Add to Home Screen is missing, confirm that Safari—not an embedded browser inside another app—is showing the page. A standard bookmark remains a complete alternative.
Install and browse on iPad
The same Safari steps apply on iPad. Landscape orientation shows more posters and gives wide catalog art additional space. Portrait offers a comfortable measure for title summaries and long guides. Use Split View carefully during playback because some provider applications restrict video modes or change resolution when the player becomes small.
Understand Safari storage and My List
Saved title identifiers remain in the Safari context associated with LookMovie. They do not automatically sync to a Mac, another iPhone or a different iPad merely because the devices use the same Apple account. Clearing website data or using private browsing can remove the list. Share permanent title links or copy their names before a reset.
Removing the home-screen icon may not erase Safari data. Clear it separately only when you intend to lose the local shortlist and country preference.
Continue into a provider application
Use AirPlay from iPhone or iPad
Open a provider that supports AirPlay, start the title, tap the AirPlay control and select the intended Apple TV or compatible display. Keep both devices on the same permitted network. If sound and video separate, disconnect, confirm the selected output and retry from the provider application. Protected content may block whole-screen mirroring while native AirPlay still works.
Set subtitles and audio before putting the phone down
Choose the desired subtitle or dub track in the provider player, then check that captions remain readable on the larger screen. A track selected on the phone may not persist after opening the television app. LookMovie identifies the original production language, but the provider supplies actual audio and caption assets.
Handle content blockers and Private Relay
A content blocker can hide remote images or provider panels along with unwanted scripts. Test the verified page with a focused site exception rather than disabling protection everywhere. Restore the rule after diagnosis. Private Relay and VPN routing can change network behavior or apparent location; provider availability and terms still apply.
Fix a stale iPhone or iPad installation
- Close the LookMovie home-screen window.
- Open the homepage directly in Safari and reload.
- Test Search and one title page.
- Record any important saved choices.
- Remove and recreate the icon only after Safari works.
If the problem begins after Watch Now, test the provider’s app, connection and title instead. A catalog refresh cannot repair an external account or caption track.
Keep shared Apple devices private
Anyone using the same Safari profile can see My List. Provider applications may also keep accounts signed in. Use device restrictions and provider profiles for children, close personal notifications before screen sharing and sign out after using a borrowed iPad. LookMovie Contact does not require passwords, recovery codes or payment details for technical help.
When the device belongs to a school or employer, follow its installation and network policies. A home-screen shortcut should not be used to bypass controls established by the device owner or administrator.
